We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, here's everything you need to know about returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Return window
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Returns requested after this period cannot be accepted, regardless of the reason.
2. Eligibility conditions
To qualify for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
Items will not be eligible for return if they are damaged, altered, or missing parts due to reasons not caused by us; if they are sale or discounted items (only regular-priced items qualify for a refund); or if they are returned outside the 30-day window.
Please do not send your item back to the manufacturer. All returns must be sent to our address listed in Section 6.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll email you to confirm receipt and let you know whether your refund has been approved or declined. If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
If you haven't received your refund, start by checking your bank account, as the credit may already be there. If not, contact your credit card company, as posting can take a few business days. Then contact your bank, as there is often a standard processing delay. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, email us at livinginpainting@gmail.com and we'll look into it.
4. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged on arrival. If you need to exchange a faulty item for the same product, please email us at livinginpainting@gmail.com before sending anything back.
5. Gift returns
If your item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. A gift certificate will be mailed to you once we receive the returned item.
If the item was not marked as a gift at purchase, or the gift giver had the order shipped to their own address first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
6. Return shipping
To return an item, please post it to: Living in Painting, TCP Market, Joshimath, Uttarakhand, India.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount. For items valued over ₹500, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return without tracking. Delivery times for exchanges may vary depending on your location.
